Recently, Pakistan has been making frequent global contacts on digital assets and blockchain policies. Bilal Bin Saqib, Minister of State for Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Affairs, is holding a series of high-level talks in the United States, intending to promote Pakistan's national strategic layout in the field of Web3 and Bitcoin.

On June 6, the Pakistan Cryptocurrency Commission announced through the official X platform that Saqib met with Brandon Lutnick, chairman and CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald, a veteran financial services company on Wall Street. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on tokenized assets, Bitcoin mining, and future cooperation directions in the field of Web3. It is reported that Cantor Fitzgerald has recently shown a strong interest in crypto assets, and this dialogue is seen as an important step for it to further expand into emerging markets.

A video released on the same day showed that Saqib also met with New York City Mayor Eric Adams. Adams has been a public supporter of Bitcoin in recent years and has said that he will ensure that New York City can issue Bitcoin bonds to explore more paths for urban fiscal innovation. This dialogue was interpreted by the outside world as a prelude to potential cooperation between Pakistan and New York City in blockchain financial mechanisms.

As early as June 4, Saqib visited Washington, DC, and held a closed-door meeting with Robert "Bo" Hines, executive director of the US President's Digital Asset Advisory Committee, at the White House. The two sides reached a preliminary consensus on topics such as the national integration path of Bitcoin and the construction of Web3 decentralized infrastructure. This series of trips shows that the Pakistani government is actively promoting docking and cooperation with the United States in the field of digital assets from a high-level policy perspective.

As a young politician with an entrepreneurial background, Saqib quickly promoted crypto policy reforms after taking office. In an interview, he said: "Pakistan will no longer be a blank area on the global blockchain map. We look forward to working with the United States and the global technology and financial community to create an inclusive and transparent crypto future."
