Here are the effective ways to buy NFTs:

You can buy NFTs on a number of blockchains, such as Solana, Bitcoin, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, or Ethereum. To buy NFTs on Ethereum, you’ll need an Ethereum-compatible cryptocurrency wallet and some ETH to get started. Buy some ETH from an exchange like Coinbase and send it to the dapp wallet in the main Coinbase app, or to Coinbase Wallet (which is separate from the main Coinbase app; you can download it through Apple’s App Store or Google Play).

Start browsing! There are both basically free items and rare items worth hundreds of thousands of dollars or more. Some items are sold through auctions, while others can be snapped up with a "buy now" button.

Even if NFTs are free or cheap, you still have to pay a fee to trade them. Miner fees go up and down depending on how busy the network is.

Choose the NFT you like and make sure you have extra ETH to pay the fee. Once the purchase is complete, you can access the NFT through your cryptocurrency wallet until you decide to sell it.
