Blockticity Launches Purpose-Built Blockchain on Avalanche Network for Global Trade Document Authentication

Blockchain technology company Blockticity announced that its Layer 1 dedicated blockchain platform developed based on the Avalanche network has been officially launched, aiming to provide compliant and verifiable document verification solutions for global commodity trade. The chain has migrated 45,000 certificates of authenticity (COAs) in the first batch, and plans to mint about 700,000 new COAs, with a total asset value of more than US$1.2 billion.

Blockticity said that the new platform is designed to solve the problem of document authenticity verification in cross-border trade, especially for strategic commodity circulation scenarios such as medical supplies, organic goods, and coffee. The platform introduces programmable AI-supported file technology that can convert traditional PDF files into tamper-proof and auditable data structures to meet the standard requirements of regulatory agencies such as the US Customs and the European Union.

The Avalanche network was selected as the underlying technical architecture, mainly based on its predictable gas fee mechanism and good compatibility with multiple stablecoins. Blockticity pointed out that these features help reduce cost fluctuations in enterprises during blockchain deployment and improve the efficiency of cross-border settlement and certification processes.

In addition, Blockticity is also the first technology company to participate in the formulation of the international supply chain blockchain standard ASTM D8558. This standard aims to promote the application of distributed ledger technology in key links such as trade certification and origin traceability, laying the foundation for the compliance development of global digital trade.

The Blockticity platform has established cooperative relationships with many commodity certification agencies and customs service providers. In the future, it plans to further expand its services to the Middle East, Latin America and Southeast Asian markets, and gradually open API interfaces for third-party system access.
