YZi Labs invests in Web3 entertainment platform MEET48 to promote the deep integration of fan economy and blockchain

YZi Labs, a pioneer in the field of decentralized technology, recently officially announced that it has made a strategic investment in Web3 entertainment platform MEET48. MEET48 is a project supported by the "Most Valuable Builder" (MVB) accelerator under BNB Chain. It is committed to providing innovative paths for fan interaction through token-driven solutions and exploring new implementation models of blockchain in virtual idols and entertainment economy.

MEET48 aims to reshape the interaction logic between fans and idols, introduce the core concepts of Web3 into fan culture and entertainment experience, and solve the long-term pain points of low fan participation, lack of transparency in interaction, and difficulty in confirming rights in the traditional entertainment industry. Through the smart contract system deployed on BNB Chain, the platform realizes the "on-chain" of interactive mechanisms such as fan ranking, voting, and virtual performance tickets, providing fans with verifiable participation records and asset returns.

The financing is led by YZi Labs, and the funds will be mainly used to accelerate MEET48's product development and global market expansion. Specific directions include creating a more immersive virtual idol performance system, launching an interactive game module for "idol cultivation", and launching offline activities combined with real-world scenarios in multiple core markets in Asia. It is reported that the platform also plans to launch a "fan DAO" governance system to give community users higher decision-making power and truly realize the entertainment experience of "fan co-construction".

YZi Labs stated in the announcement that one of the core values of Web3 is to empower the community, and the entertainment industry in particular has natural community stickiness and emotional driving advantages. MEET48 has grasped the intersection of the trend of "fan economy + token economy" and is expected to become an important example of the landing of Web3 scenarios. This investment also represents YZi Labs' firm bet on the future of emerging content creation and virtual social interaction.
