The U.S. House Financial Services Committee (Financial Services GOP) issued a statement saying that the House will set up "Crypto Week" during the week of July 14 to promote a number of key crypto legislative agendas. Committee Chairman French Hill, Agriculture Committee Chairman GT Thompson and the House Republican leadership jointly announced that this move is aimed at strengthening regulatory clarity and legislative support for the cryptocurrency field.

During "Crypto Week", the House will focus on reviewing three important bills:

The Clarity for Payment Stablecoins Act: Aims to establish a regulatory framework for the issuance of stablecoins and promote the development of legal and transparent payment stablecoins;

The CBDC Anti-Surveillance State Act: Aims to restrict the federal government from issuing central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) with tracking and monitoring functions;

The Get Exciting New Innovations in Unique Sectors Act: Support the development of Web3, NFT, and blockchain innovation projects in the United States.

The plan shows that the U.S. Congress is pushing legislation for the crypto industry in a more systematic way, while also highlighting the Republican Party’s priority for a regulatory framework for digital assets.
