Gate Ventures, Superteam UK, and Cambridge Blockchain Association Launch Web3 (Open-web)

On the evening of August 13th, Gate Ventures announced the launch of the Web3 (Open-web) & AI Frontier Program, in partnership with Solana Superteam UK and the Cambridge Blockchain Association.

The program aims to promote academic exploration at the intersection of blockchain and artificial intelligence, empowering and nurturing a new generation of forward-thinking innovators.

The program will provide funding ranging from $100,000 to $1 million to university projects, including those at the University of Cambridge, along with mentorship from industry experts and access to the Solana ecosystem.

With support from leading industry organizations, the program will accelerate the implementation and development of research-driven projects in blockchain infrastructure, decentralized finance (DeFi), and AI applications built on the Solana network.
