On October 22, 2025, the signing ceremony for the launch of the "Spark Chain Network" International Super Node (Hong Kong, China) was successfully held in Beijing.
Li Guanyu, Secretary of the Party Committee of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. Li Haihua, Deputy Director of the Industrial Internet and Internet of Things Research Institute of CAICT, presided over the ceremony.
In his welcome speech, Li Guanyu emphasized that the launch of the "Spark Chain Network" International Super Node (Hong Kong, China) is an important step in building a global cross-border trust infrastructure. As my country's "bridgehead" for global Web3 innovation, Hong Kong's super node will undertake three major missions: a hub for "internal and external connectivity," a platform for "industry empowerment," and support for "compliant circulation."
This signing marks a new stage in cooperation between mainland China and Hong Kong in the digital economy. CAICT will work closely with all sectors of Hong Kong to jointly build a new generation of trusted network that "connects the mainland, radiates across Asia-Pacific, and faces the world," helping Hong Kong become a forefront of my country's Web3 innovation and development.
Li Haihua pointed out that the "Spark·Chain Network" International Super Node (Hong Kong, China) will deeply integrate blockchain, distributed identification technology and cross-border business needs to provide infrastructure support for key areas such as digital assets and cross-border data flows. At present, "Spark·Chain Network" International (ASTRON) has completed node construction in Malaysia, Macau, China and other places.
The establishment of the Hong Kong node will further expand ASTRON's global network layout and promote standardization and large-scale application.
Li Jining, consultant of Spark Node (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Spark Hong Kong Company") and founding president of the Hong Kong International Gold Association, said that the efficient operation of the industrial economy on the chain is inseparable from the support of trusted digital infrastructure.
As a "permissioned public chain", "Spark·Chain Network" International will provide the industry with stable, compliant and high-performance blockchain technology services. Relying on Hong Kong's policy advantages of pioneering and trialing, the establishment of the super node in Hong Kong is currently the most appropriate and timely strategic move.
Spark Hong Kong Chairman and CEO Cai Quan said that the "Spark Chain Network" International Super Node (Hong Kong, China) is not only a hub for the "Spark Chain Network" industry, data, resources and ecology, but will also focus on serving core scenarios such as efficient and reliable supply chain services, a new generation of digital government applications, financial digitization, and Web3 innovative application incubation.
The node will build a digital trust infrastructure connecting global industries and data, and through an international cooperation model, provide underlying support for the safe and compliant circulation of data elements in the Greater Bay Area and internationally, deeply empowering industrial upgrading and a new paradigm of cross-border cooperation.
During the free exchange session, representatives from the Hong Kong Blockchain Association, the China Internet Development Foundation, the China Gold Association, Bubi (Beijing) Network Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Xinlian Cloud Data Technology Co., Ltd., Yingke Law Firm, Tianyuan Law Firm, Zhongwen Law Firm and other institutions conducted in-depth exchanges and active discussions on the development vision of the "Spark Chain Network" International Super Node (Hong Kong, China).
At the ceremony, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) and Spark Hong Kong jointly launched the signing ceremony for the "Spark Chain Network" International Super Node (Hong Kong, China). Li Haihua and Cai Quan signed the agreement as representatives of both parties, and Li Guanyu and Li Jining witnessed the signing.
Based on its position as a "two-way connector" in the Asia-Pacific region and leveraging Hong Kong's policy and financial advantages, the "Spark Chain Network" International Super Node (Hong Kong, China) will serve key areas such as cross-border trade and digital assets, building a solid cooperative foundation for global trusted data services.
Looking ahead, the CAICT will continue to uphold the principle of pragmatic cooperation and work with partners from all walks of life in Hong Kong to continuously enrich the ecosystem of the "Spark Chain Network" International Super Node (Hong Kong, China), deepen the exploration of diverse application scenarios, and leverage technologies such as blockchain and distributed identification to build a global digital trust network, jointly promoting the prosperity and development of the digital economy in my country and around the world.
