On October 25th, blockchain media outlet Cointelegraph reported that the popular video-sharing platform Rumble has officially partnered with stablecoin issuer Tether to launch a Bitcoin-based tipping feature for content creators.

The feature is expected to launch in early to mid-December of this year, further expanding creators' income channels. Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino, while revealing the project's progress, stated that the team is currently working on final preparations before the launch, including fixing potential system vulnerabilities and conducting multiple rounds of user experience optimization to ensure a smooth and secure experience for creators and viewers upon official launch.

It's worth noting that this partnership isn't Tether's only recent major development. Previous reports indicate that Tether also plans to launch USAT, a compliant stablecoin that meets US regulatory requirements, in December of this year, further expanding the influence of its stablecoin business in global markets, particularly in highly regulated regions.

As a rapidly rising video platform in recent years, Rumble's introduction of a cryptocurrency reward mechanism not only reflects its innovative exploration of content monetization methods, but also demonstrates the growing application potential of crypto payments in the digital content ecosystem.
