NVIDIA founder and CEO Jen-Hsun Huang announced today that the company has made two major progress: first, the United States has approved its H20 chip export license, and NVIDIA will soon start shipping to the Chinese market; second, the company will launch a new GPU product, RTX Pro, which is positioned for graphics computing, digital twins and artificial intelligence applications.
Jen-Hsun Huang said at a media briefing in Beijing: "The US government has approved our export license and we can start shipping, so we will start selling H20 to the Chinese market. I am very happy about this. This is really very, very good news."
H20 is an AI acceleration chip specially customized by NVIDIA to meet export control requirements. It has been facing regulatory approval obstacles in the past few months. The approval of this export license will significantly enhance NVIDIA's supply capabilities in the Chinese artificial intelligence market.
At the same time, Jen-Hsun Huang announced that NVIDIA will soon launch the RTX Pro graphics card. This new product is positioned as NVIDIA's new flagship in the field of graphics and AI, designed for digital content creation, digital twin modeling and AI developers.
"This graphics card is very important because it is designed for computer graphics, digital twins and artificial intelligence," Jen-Hsun Huang emphasized.
This dual launch not only demonstrates NVIDIA's commitment to continue to deepen its presence in the Chinese market, but also reflects its ability to maintain technological leadership and compliance flexibility in the global AI competition landscape.
Background supplement:
H20 chip: It is a Hopper architecture AI accelerator adjusted by NVIDIA to meet US export control regulations, mainly for the Chinese data center market.
RTX Pro: A professional graphics card series developed for content creation, industrial simulation and AI collaboration, and more technical details are expected to be officially released in the coming weeks.
