On December 23, the Solana Foundation announced the launch of Kora, a fee relay and signature node for the Solana ecosystem, supporting features such as fee-free trading and custom fee tokens.

Previously, there was no modern, standardized way to implement fee payment and remote signatures. While Solana's account model made these functions technically feasible, there was a lack of readily available, ready-to-use solutions on the market. Kora was created to address this need, offering the following features:

· Full fee payment;

· Fee payment using any token (including stablecoins);

· Offloading signature operations to a secure environment.
