John von Seggern is an online educator and founder of Futureproof Music School, an online school that teaches students electronic music production and currently uses an AI assistant to help build and supplement courses for students.

The educator told Cointelegraph that he plans to launch blockchain-based certifications for students who complete educational courses, providing verifiable proof that they have completed the project and fully understood the material.

According to a report by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), an intergovernmental organization, there is significant momentum globally in the use of blockchain technology to issue, share and verify educational experiences and qualifications. Blockchain technology enables anyone to verify claims about an individual or institution, including their characteristics and qualifications, and can do so instantly and with a very high degree of certainty.
