Binance HODLer Airdrop Launches Somnia, SOMI Spot Trading Opens on September 2nd

The 35th Binance HODLer Airdrop, Somnia (SOM), a Layer 1 blockchain built on the EVM and focused on gaming and entertainment applications, has officially launched. Users can participate in this airdrop by purchasing BNB through Binance's "Guaranteed Return" product (including fixed and demand deposits) and using BNB.

The airdrop subscription period runs from 08:00 on August 12, 2025, to 07:59 on August 16, 2025 (Beijing Time). Users who purchase and hold a certain amount of BNB during this period will be eligible for the SOM airdrop. Details of the airdrop are expected to be announced within 24 hours of the event's launch, and all airdrop tokens will be distributed to users' Binance spot wallets at least one hour before SOM trading officially begins.

Somnia (SOM) will launch spot trading on Binance at 10:30 PM (UTC) on September 2, 2025, with the initial supported trading pairs including SOM/USDT, SOM/USDC, SOM/BNB, SOM/FDUSD, and SOM/TRY. Deposits will be available in advance at 7:00 PM (UTC) on September 1, 2025.

According to official information, the initial circulating supply of SOM will be 160.2 million, representing 16.02% of the maximum token supply. This setting aims to balance ecosystem development and market circulation, providing a foundation for the long-term development of the project.
