Liu Zhiwei: Hong Kong is becoming the preferred testing ground for cross-border circulation of RWAs worldwide

On September 9, 2025, the "World's First RWA Expo and Global RWA 100-City Tour" grandly opened in Hong Kong. Mr. Liu Zhiwei, Chairman of Chunda Group and Co-Chairman of the Metaverse and Artificial Intelligence 30 Forum, was invited to attend the opening ceremony and deliver opening remarks.

In his speech, Liu Zhiwei stated that Hong Kong has successfully fulfilled many of his forward-looking predictions from 2018 regarding the convergence of blockchain and artificial intelligence.

He noted that RWA (real-world asset tokenization) is no longer merely theoretical but is becoming a core engine driving the digital transformation of the real economy, demonstrating significant potential in improving asset liquidity, reducing transaction costs, and enhancing market transparency.

As a significant shareholder of Hong Kong-listed Guofu Quantum (0290.HK), Liu Zhiwei further emphasized that RWA is currently at a critical stage of transitioning from proof-of-concept to large-scale, operational applications.

He revealed that Guofu Quantum has innovatively proposed a "five-in-one" development strategy, aiming to systematically build a closed-loop ecosystem encompassing the entire lifecycle of "exchanges—RWA investment banks—pre-RWA funds—RWA secondary market funds—financial technology," comprehensively covering key links such as asset incubation, capital intervention, listing and circulation, and technological empowerment.

This strategy is not only dedicated to building a complete industrial ecosystem in the RWA sector, but also aims to enhance Hong Kong's voice in international financial competition and help it compete for its position as a global RWA pricing center.

Liu Zhiwei also stated that this strategy will closely align with the Hong Kong government's proposed "eight centers" development strategy, particularly in areas such as finance, scientific and technological innovation, and intellectual property trade, promoting the digital upgrade of more traditional assets, further consolidating Hong Kong's strategic role as an international financial and innovation hub.
