MetaPlanet will set up subsidiaries in Japan and the United States and acquire domain namesBitcoin.jp​​

On September 17th, MetaPlanet (stock code: 3350), a publicly listed Japanese company, announced the establishment of two wholly-owned subsidiaries to further expand its business presence in Bitcoin and related sectors.

The newly established Japanese subsidiary, named "Bitcoin Japan Co., Ltd.", will focus on producing Bitcoin-related media content, organizing industry events, and providing related services. As part of this strategy, MetaPlanet also plans to acquire the influential Bitcoin domain name "Bitcoin.jp" in Japan to strengthen its brand influence and market recognition. Simultaneously, MetaPlanet announced the establishment of another US subsidiary, Metaplanet Income Corp., to further expand its Bitcoin revenue stream and enhance international business synergy, particularly in North America. MetaPlanet stated that the establishment of these subsidiaries is not only a significant step in optimizing the group's business structure, but will also effectively integrate the company's existing resources and future development plans.

By establishing a clearer and more focused business unit structure, the company hopes to improve the transparency and profitability of its overall operations and lay a solid foundation for its mid- to long-term strategic expansion, particularly in the areas of digital assets and blockchain services.
