AI Web3 recruitment platform TradeTalent secures $8 million in funding

On October 19th, TradeTalent, an AI-powered Web3 recruitment platform, announced the completion of an $8 million funding round. This round was co-led by Nasdaq-listed Allied Gaming & Entertainment (NASDAQ: AGAE) and technology engineering company Hicop Engineering Pte. Ltd.

The funds raised will be primarily used to accelerate the iteration of its AI skills verification technology, expand its global network of businesses and talent, and further enhance the platform's Web3 trust infrastructure integration.

TradeTalent is committed to building a global, trusted skills network connecting Web2 and Web3. The platform provides on-chain AI interviewing and skills verification services using its proprietary AI recruitment protocol and smart contracts.

This system generates immutable, on-chain skills assessment NFTs for job seekers, aiming to address common pain points in traditional recruitment, such as resume misrepresentation, high background check costs, and privacy breaches, while enabling decentralized and trusted verification of talent skills.

One of the lead investors, Allied Gaming & Entertainment, is a global entertainment and esports company.

It has recently been actively developing its Web3 strategy through investments in Bitcoin and Ethereum, with a particular focus on the tokenization of real-world assets (RWAs). This investment is seen as a key step in its expansion into Web3 infrastructure. Another lead investor, Hicop, is a technology company specializing in energy and engineering solutions.
