Department of Commerce regarding a partnership plan in which the government would provide capital injections in exchange for partial equity. This initiative, spearheaded by Paul Dabbar, Under Secretary of Commerce for Science and Technology, aims to transform the federal government into a shareholder in these cutting-edge technology companies.

This policy initiative focuses on strategic areas designated as "critical technologies," such as quantum computing, and aims to leverage national capital to accelerate the research, development, and industrialization of these technologies.

In addition to the aforementioned companies, other quantum technology companies, such as Quantum Computing Inc. and Atom Computing, are also considering similar partnership structures, demonstrating a shared commitment between the U.S. government and the private sector to building a quantum ecosystem.
