According to CoinDesk, a leading blockchain media outlet, digital payment platform Truther recently announced a partnership with global payment giant Visa to jointly launch a USDT Visa card supporting a "non-custodial" model.

This innovative payment tool will allow users to directly use the USDT held in their self-custodial wallets for daily spending, completely eliminating the cumbersome process of pre-loading traditional prepaid cards and the need to rely on any third-party custodial services.

During the payment process, the Truther system will deduct the corresponding amount of USDT from the user's self-custodial wallet in real time and complete instant settlement, thus providing a payment experience indistinguishable from fiat currency cards while ensuring complete user control over their assets.

Truther further revealed that its long-term development plan includes not only gradually expanding this service to countries with high cryptocurrency demand such as Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, and Russia, but also integrating more localized stablecoins into its self-custodial wallet ecosystem in the future to meet the diverse digital asset payment needs of users in different regions.

This initiative is expected to further bridge the gap between cryptocurrencies and real-world economic scenarios, promoting the widespread adoption and application of self-custodial payment solutions globally.
