B.News Terms of Service

Welcome to B.News (the "Platform", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and the operator of the Platform regarding your use of the news and related services it provides. Please read them carefully — especially clauses about liability limitations, intellectual property, dispute resolution and governing law.
By registering an account, accessing, browsing or otherwise using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by all of these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service immediately.
1. Services
1.1 The Platform delivers news and information services covering finance, technology, industry and general topics, including but not limited to:
- News articles, in-depth reporting, special topics, video and podcast content;
- Columns, industry analysis, market data, events and knowledge bases;
- Comments, bookmarks, subscriptions, push notifications and other member features.
1.2 Services may change, be suspended or terminated due to business adjustments, regulatory changes or force majeure. Where reasonable, we will notify you in advance.
2. Account Registration and Use
2.1 You must provide truthful, accurate, complete and lawful identity information when registering or using a Platform account, and you are responsible for its authenticity and legality.
2.2 You must safeguard your account and credentials (passwords, verification codes, login tokens). All activities conducted under your account are deemed to be your own, and you bear the related legal responsibility.
2.3 If you discover unauthorised use or a security risk, notify us immediately and take remedial steps. We are not liable for losses caused by your failure to notify in a timely manner.
2.4 You may not transfer, lend, lease or otherwise provide your account to others, nor register accounts in bad faith.
3. Acceptable Use
3.1 You agree to comply with the Constitution, the Cybersecurity Law, the Data Security Law, the Personal Information Protection Law, the Administrative Measures for Internet Information Services, the Provisions on the Administration of Internet News Information Services and other applicable laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China.
3.2 You must not use the Platform to:
- publish or disseminate content that opposes the basic principles of the Constitution, endangers national security, leaks state secrets, subverts state power, or undermines national unity;
- publish or spread content that harms national honour and interests, incites ethnic hatred or undermines ethnic unity;
- publish fake news, rumours, misleading information or unverified market data and investment advice;
- publish obscene, pornographic, gambling, violent, terror or crime-inciting content;
- insult or defame others or infringe their lawful rights (reputation, portrait, privacy, intellectual property);
- engage in activity that endangers the Platform's network security, including unauthorised access, scraping, virus distribution or service disruption;
- engage in any other activity that violates laws, regulations, public order, morals or these terms.
3.3 We may take action against violating content or behaviour — including content removal, feature restrictions, account suspension or closure — and reserve the right to pursue legal liability.
4. Content and Intellectual Property
4.1 All content provided by us or our licensors (text, images, audio, video, charts, code, page design, trademarks, logos, etc.) is owned by B.News or the relevant rights holders and is protected by copyright and other applicable laws.
4.2 You must not reproduce, republish, excerpt, modify, translate, mirror, scrape or distribute such content for commercial purposes without prior written permission from us or the rights holder.
4.3 You retain the intellectual property rights in original content (comments, submissions, etc.) you publish on the Platform. You grant B.News a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licensable right to use, copy, modify, compile, distribute, display and promote it for the operation, marketing and promotion of the Platform and related services.
4.4 If you believe Platform content infringes your rights, please contact us with proof of ownership in accordance with the Regulations on the Protection of the Right of Communication through Information Networks; we will handle it lawfully and in a timely manner.
5. Information Disclaimer
5.1 News, market data, financial data and analysis published on the Platform are for reference only and do not constitute investment advice or any basis for trading decisions. You are responsible for your own decisions and the resulting risks.
5.2 Third-party data, links and content cited on the Platform are the responsibility of their respective sources; we make no express or implied warranty regarding their accuracy or completeness.
5.3 To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for service interruptions, data loss or other damages caused by force majeure, system failures, network outages or third-party causes.
6. Personal Information Protection
6.1 We take your personal information protection seriously and handle it in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
6.2 By using the Platform you consent to our processing your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the Platform immediately.
7. Changes and Termination
7.1 We may revise these terms in response to changes in laws, regulations or our business, and will notify you via on-site announcement, push notification or other reasonable means. Revisions take effect upon publication.
7.2 If you do not agree to the revised terms you must stop using the Platform; continued use constitutes acceptance.
7.3 You may close your account at any time via account settings. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable laws.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
8.1 The formation, validity, performance, interpretation of, and disputes arising from these terms are governed by the laws of mainland China (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan).
8.2 Disputes arising from these terms or the service shall first be resolved by friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party may bring suit in the competent People's Court at the operator's registered location.
