Metaplanet announces purchase of additional 330 Bitcoins as part of financial operations

Metaplanet Inc. (TSE:3350 / OTCQX:MTPLF), a Bitcoin Treasury company listed in Japan, has announced the acquisition of an additional 330 Bitcoins as part of its ongoing Bitcoin Treasury operations. The latest purchases were made at an average price of 12,181,570 yen per Bitcoin, totaling approximately 4,020 million yen. With this acquisition, Metaplanet’s total Bitcoin holdings now stand at 4,855 Bitcoins, with an overall average purchase price of 12,804,361 yen per Bitcoin, for a total investment of 62,165 million yen. The Company reported a quarterly Bitcoin return of 12.1% for the period April 1, 2025 to April 21, 2025, following returns of 41.7%, 309.8% and 95.6% in the previous quarters, respectively. These metrics reflect Metaplanet’s strategy to enhance shareholder value through its Bitcoin acquisition efforts.
