In terms of news, Guofu Quantum issued an announcement stating that it expects the Group to achieve a net profit attributable to owners of the company of approximately HK$200 million to HK$210 million for the six months ended September 30, compared to a net loss attributable to owners of the company of approximately HK$10.9 million for the same period in 2024. The announcement stated that the increase in profit for the period was mainly due to the recognition of net investment income at fair value in profit or loss; gains from the sale of cryptocurrencies; and an increase in operating profit generated from the Group's main businesses (including the Group's securities brokerage and margin financing businesses).
