On December 8th, Cailian Press reported that Yin Hejun, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Minister of Science and Technology, published an article in the Science and Technology Daily entitled "Leading the Development of New Productive Forces with Scientific and Technological Innovation." The article stated that, looking towards the "15th Five-Year Plan," it is necessary to coordinate scientific and technological innovation with industrial development, cultivate and strengthen a number of emerging industries in fields such as next-generation information technology and artificial intelligence, and plan and build future industries in fields such as quantum technology and biotechnology, seizing the commanding heights of future technology and industry.
