As U.S. stock futures and crypto markets plummeted, U.S. President Trump said in an interview that he did not deliberately manipulate the market to sell off and had talked with European and Asian leaders about tariffs.

He could not predict what would happen in the market. When asked about the market performance, he said that sometimes the market must take medicine.
