World Liberty Financial (WLFI), a DeFi project backed by the Trump family, began selling its Ethereum holdings at $1,465 per coin, even though the asset was purchased at $3,259 per coin at the beginning of the year.

Arkham's on-chain data shows that a wallet closely associated with World Liberty Financial sold 5,471 ETH for about $8 million on Wednesday after accumulating losses of $125 million.

World Liberty Financial's main wallet still holds $98 million worth of cryptocurrencies, of which $11.7 million is Ethereum.
