Alibaba's Quark AI Glasses will hold a new product launch event, accelerating the development of the AI glasses industry.

According to reports, Alibaba's first self-developed flagship dual-display AI glasses—Quark AI Glasses—will hold its 2025 new product launch event on November 27th.

It is understood that the cooperation between Alibaba's Quark AI Glasses and Alipay has been upgraded again. Building upon the existing "pay with a glance" feature, Quark AI Glasses will add exclusive capabilities such as crosshair assistance and bone conduction voice pickup. Galaxy Securities points out that, according to IDC data, in the first half of 2025, global smart glasses shipments reached 4.065 million units, a year-on-year increase of 64.2%. IDC predicts that global smart glasses shipments will exceed 40 million units by 2029, with a 5-year CAGR of 55.6% from 2024 to 2029. With major manufacturers entering the market, the AI smart glasses industry is entering an accelerated development phase. Based on a large user base, smart glasses are expected to become the next major consumer electronics category after smartphones.

Hengxuan Technology stated that the Alibaba Quark AI glasses use the company's BES2800 chip. The BES2800 adopts a 6nm FinFET process and integrates a multi-core CPU/GPU, NPU, large-capacity storage, low-power Wi-Fi, and dual-mode Bluetooth on a single chip, significantly improving performance, power consumption, and technological innovation.
