Payment giant Stripe will enable stablecoin payments for user accounts. This feature supports payments using stablecoins such as USDC on major blockchain networks including Ethereum, Base, and Polygon. Stripe states that stablecoin payments are fully integrated into its optimized checkout suite, and existing integrations require no code changes. Regarding fees, stablecoin payments incur a 1.5% charge on the transaction amount (in USD), with no fixed fee. All transactions will be settled in USD to the user's existing payment balance.
