Google's AI glasses have reportedly entered small-scale mass production and may be released in Q4 2026.

According to media reports citing sources familiar with the matter, Google initiated two AI glasses projects at the end of last year. Both projects are currently in the Proof-of-Concept (POC) stage, with intensive efforts underway in component selection and design. The sources indicated that Foxconn will manufacture the hardware for Google's AI glasses, Samsung will provide the reference design, and Qualcomm will supply the chips. Google has also recently been in contact with Chinese suppliers, including Goertek. Furthermore, the earliest possible release date for Google's AI glasses is Q4 2026.
